Marta Buenaventura is a visual artist and architect with more than four decades of experience dedicated to the research and evolution of her visual language. Her work is characterized by a profound exploration of space, matter, and perception, blending traditional techniques with contemporary approaches.

From her start at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM), her curiosity led her to delve deeper into art, expanding her training at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid after completing her studies at ETSAM. Over the years, she has experimented with painting, sculpture, and mixed media, constantly seeking new forms of expression. Her creative process is always evolving, producing actively and a always looking for new paths.

Between 1980 and 1982, she lived in Toronto, Canada, an experience that enriched her artistic and professional perspective. In addition, between 2002 and 2007, she attended the Department of Painting IV at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, consolidating her training in the plastic arts.
